University of Ghana Alumni Association Delegation Calls on Vice-Chancellor

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu has received a delegation from the University of Ghana Alumni Association (UGAA). The delegation led by Mr. Felix Addo, Chairman, Finance Committee, (UGAA), in partnership with Officials of Stanbic Bank, and the Institutional Advancement Office (IAO) met with the Vice-Chancellor to update him on the status of projects the Association is currently undertaking to support the University.

In brief remarks, Mr. Felix Addo expressed sincere appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor for his support to the Association and congratulated him on the extension of his tenure in office. He indicated that Stanbic Bank through digital platforms, was ready to assist in mobilizing funds to undertake projects.

Mr. Ebenezer Mac-Acquaye, Manager, Client Access, Stanbic Bank, disclosed that the Bank will not only be partners to hold funds but also collaborate with the UGAA to undertake other developmental projects.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu in his remarks, expressed appreciation to the UGAA, IAO and Stanbic Bank for the selfless effort in making the University a better place. He added that the University needs stronger partnership with the Alumni to operate efficiently.
