Unilever Ghana Limited has donated 15 cartons of Lifebuoy soap to Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR), one of the leading laboratories at the forefront of testing samples for COVID-19 in the country.
Dr. K. A. Sarkodie, Medical Advisor and Mr. Henry Malm, Head, Communications & Sustainability who made the presentation on behalf of Unilever Ghana Limited indicated that this contribution was to help in the fight against the novel Corona virus through regular hand washing.
The Director and staff of the Institute are grateful to Unilever for the kind gesture and look forward to a longstanding collaboration between the two institutions.
Representatives of NMIMR present to receive the donation were Dr. Godfred Egbi, Head, Nutrition Department, Mr. Theodore Ahuno, Administrator, Mrs. Gloria Obeng-Benefo, Public Relations Officer and Mrs. Angelina Appiah-Kubi, Senior Administrative Assistant and Personal Assistant to the Director.
