Prof. Joseph Adjaye, who graduated from the University of Ghana with a BA (Hons) in History in 1963 and is currently a part-time faculty in the Department of History, has set up scholarships in the department to support undergraduate and graduate students. He has given the university an initial seed money of GHC40,000, which he intends to increase in the next few years to about GHC100,000. The first set of awards is expected to be given out in the 2014/2015 academic year.
