Kingdom Books and Stationery Ltd Commissions a Branch on Korle-Bu Campus

A branch of the Kingdom Books and Stationery was jointly commissioned at the University of Ghana Korle-Bu Campus by the Reverend Emeritus Professor Seth Andrews Ayettey and the Reverend Professor Patrick Ferdinand Ayeh-Kumi, respectively the first and the current provosts of the College of Health Sciences.

In his brief remarks, the current Provost expressed gratitude to Kingdom Books and Stationery Limited for responding to the need to site a bookstore at the University of Ghana Korle-Bu Campus.

The Managing Director of Kingdom Books and Stationery Limited, Mr. Peter Gyateng, expressed his pleasure working with the team at the College of Health Sciences to bring the idea of a Korle-Bu Campus Kingdom Bookshop into reality.

The Director of Physical Development and Municipal Services Directorate (PDMSD), Mr, Charles Kofi Nti, recounted the year-long effort in bringing the project to fruition. He indicated that the bookshop has been stocked with over 3,000 books for the benefit of faculty, staff and students. He thanked all the stakeholders who made the project a reality.

Present at the ceremony were Professor Aaron Lawson, former Provost of the College of Health Sciences; Professor Anthony Andrew Adjei, former Deputy Provost; Professor Joseph Darkwah Seffah, former Deputy Provost; Prof. Margaret Lartey, Dean, University of Ghana Medical School; Prof. Ebenezer Anno-Nyarko, Ag. Dean, University of Ghana Dental School; Mr. Solomon Bayugo Sulemani, former College Librarian; Deans, some faculty members and School Administrators.
