The Ghana Association of Bankers has made a donation of 30 Veronica buckets to support the University of Ghana’s efforts at fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
These were presented to the University by Mrs. Anna Ampofo, Executive Secretary of the University of Ghana Alumni Association.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the University, Mr. Charles Kofinti, Director, Physical Development and Municipal Services Directorate (PDMSD) expressed sincere appreciation to the Ghana Association of Bankers for the kind gesture. He acknowledged the efforts of Mr. Paa Kwasi Yankey, immediate past Chairman of the Alumni Association for facilitating the donation. Mr. Kofinti said that this will complement the University’s effort of promoting regular hand washing as a measure to curb the spread of coronavirus.
