German President Pays Courtesy Call on Vice-Chancellor

The President of the Federal Republic of Germany, His Excellency Dr. Frank Walter Steinmeier,  called on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu during his visit to the University,  ahead of a Town Hall meeting he held with students of the University as well as witnessing the signing of an agreement leading to the establishment of the Merian International Centre for Advanced Studies (MICAS) to be established at the University of Ghana.
 
The German President was met on arrival by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Development, Prof. Francis Dodoo and the Director of Public Affairs, Mrs. Stella A. Amoa.

The Vice-Chancellor and his august visitor held brief discussions on areas of mutual concern after which H.E. Dr. Frank Walter Steinmeier signed the guest book at the Vice-Chancellors office.
