Gardenia Medicals, distributor of prehospital emergency medical supplies, equipment and pharmaceuticals for EMS providers, has donated a disinfecting tunnel to the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research.
The Technical Manager of Gardenia Medicals, Madam Patience Yeboah who led the team, noted that the disinfecting tunnel was manufactured purposely to help limit and stop the spread of COVID-19.
Prof. Abraham Kwabena Anang, Director, NMIMR, who received the donation on behalf of the Institute, expressed immense gratitude to Gardenia Medicals for the donation. He pledged the Institute’s unwavering commitment towards the fight against the spread of the Coronavirus.
Present at the ceremony was the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, Provost of the College of Health Sciences, Rev. Prof. Patrick F. Ayeh-Kumi, officials and staff from Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and Gardenia Medicals.
