2025 Alumni Lecture Spotlights Role of Public-Private Partnerships in Ghana’s Development

The Executive Chairman of the KGL Group, Mr. Alex Apau Dadey Jnr., has underscored the crucial role of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in advancing Ghana’s development agenda. Delivering the 2025 University of Ghana Alumni Lecture, he explored the theme of responsible corporate citizenship through the lens of Public-Private Partnerships, drawing on examples from Ghana and across the world.

Mr. Dadey highlighted how public-private collaborations can drive sustainable growth across key sectors such as education, health and infrastructure. He explained the importance of accountability, innovation and shared purpose in promoting partnerships that deliver meaningful national impact.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, commended Mr. Dadey for his insightful presentation and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to serving as a platform for national dialogue on development.
