About

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics, at the University of Ghana. I teach courses in Phonetics, Phonology, Sign Language Linguistics, Sociophonetics, Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), and Forensic Linguistics. My Dissertation on the tonology of Bùlì, looked at tone, and its interfaces with the morpho-syntax of Bùlì. The dissertation also explored issues in Tonogenesis. My core area of specialization is the phonetics and phonology of tone, and how these interface with the morpho-syntax of tone in Bùlì, and the Mabia languages in general. My research interests also focus on explaining the phonetics, phonology, and morphology of Ghanaian Sign Language, Sign Language in Deaf Education, and Forensic Linguistics.
