第20届“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛加纳赛区初赛顺利举行!

The preliminary contest of the 20th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students in Ghana was successfully held!

In April full of vitality, the campus of the University of Ghana is no longer as empty and lonely as last year. The laughter and joy of the students, together with the sun and birdsong, are lively and youthful. The annual Chinese competition ——the 20th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students, Ghana Region, started at this time. The Ghana Regional Competition is hosted by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Ghana and hosted by the Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana. The participating units are the Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana, the Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Coast, Nkrumah University of Technology, and the University of Wisconsin.

The contestants in this preliminary contest are from two Confucius Institutes and four universities in Ghana, including 11 students from the University of Ghana and the Confucius Institute, 6 from the University of Cape Coast and the Confucius Institute, 2 from Nkrumah University of Technology,1from Wisconsin university. To enter the semi-finals, contestants are required to provide a three-minute speech video and three to five-minute Chinese talent show video. After careful review by the organizing committee, the top 10 contestants will be selected for the next round of the regional contest semi-finals. Among them, 6 are from the Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana (including 1 from Wisconsin), 3 from the Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Coast, and 1 from the Nkrumah University of Technology.

We look forward to the promoted players to show themselves better through the "Chinese Bridge" platform, and continue to work hard in the next semi-finals to achieve better results!
