The “UG Says No to Drugs” campaign is a student-focused awareness initiative aimed at promoting a healthy, safe, and drug-free environment within the University of Ghana community. The campaign seeks to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse, encourage responsible decision-making, and empower the university community to stand firmly against substance misuse.
Drug abuse remains a growing concern among young people worldwide, and universities are not exempt from its effects. The misuse of drugs can negatively impact students’ academic performance, mental health, physical well-being, and future opportunities. Through this campaign, the University of Ghana reaffirms its commitment to protecting students and promoting a culture of wellness and responsibility on campus.
