AREN 621: Unit Operations in Agricultural Produce Processing

This course deals with the advanced practical study of large scale unit operations necessary for the processing of agricultural commodities. Students will therefore go through the process of developing industrial systems for the processing of agricultural commodities. The designs will be simulated using Computer Aided Design/ Manufacturing (CAD / CAM) softwares. The economic and environmental sustainability of operational designs will also be analyzed to better understand real-world scenarios.
