Table ronde: Développement de carrière et place des femmes dans le milieu académique africain

Le Merian Institute of Advanced Studies Africa (MIASA), l’Institut historique allemand (IHA Paris) et le Centre de recherche sur les politiques sociales (CREPOS) organisent une table ronde sur le « Développement de carrière et place des femmes dans le milieu académique africain » le jeudi, 6 décembre 2019, à 10h30 à la salle de séminaire IHA-CREPOS (Corniche). Parmi les intervenantes seront Fatou Sow (CNRS), Yacine Diagne (CESTI), Absa Gassama (UVS), Nadine Sieveking (Université de Göttigen). La table ronde est publique.

Female Academic Careers in Africa Workshop/ Carrières académiques féminines en Afrique

Abstract

What is the place of women at African universities today? What opportunities and solutions exist to imagine, plan and promote national and international women’s academic careers? How to facilitate the reconciliation of professional life with private and family life? Based on these questions, the workshop aims to discuss the challenges and opportunities of female academic careers in African contexts. It will consist of a coaching workshop and a round table.

MIASA Publishing Workshop

 

                                     

The MIASA Publishing Workshop for African scholars, jointly organised by Africa Spectrum (published by the GIGA Institute for African Affairs) and the Contemporary Journal of African Studies (published by the Institute of African Studies at the University of Ghana), will take place on 14 and 15 December 2023 at the University of Ghana in Legon-Accra.

Information

Stone Karim Mohamad is a poet, photographer, and also a well-known spoken-word artist in Cameroon and Germany. He splits his time between Yaoundé, Buea and Stuttgart. He is currently Artist in residence at MIASA, University of Ghana.
