LAUNCH OF THE LEGON LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (LLA) INITIATIVE
The LLA is a leadership development initiative that seeks to develop the leadership capacity of faculty and staff in the university to enhance their work outcomes so they could contribute to UG’s progress and growth through innovation and in particular support effective teaching and ground-breaking research.
The LLA was approved by the University Council in September 2023 and is due to be launched for operationalisation. The launch is being done under the auspices of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.
The launch will be a university-wide programme to be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, with Mrs. Yvette Adounvo Atekpe, member of the University Council as Guest of Honour. The programme will also host an accomplished business leader as Keynote Speaker and other high-profile dignitaries within and outside the university community.
