Invitation to UGBS Conference

You are cordially invited to participate in the 2nd UGBS Conference on Business and Development. The conference theme is Business and Development

The 2nd UGBS Conference on Business and Development begins 28 July and ends on 31st July.

 

The key events are:

  1. Conference Opening – 29 July. Time 8.30-10.30am. Venue: Auditorium
  2. The Pitch (Business Launch) – 28 – 31 July. Time: 2.00 – 5.00pm. Venue: Room B
  3. Quantitative Methods Workshop - 29 – 31 July. Time: 2.00 – 5.00pm. . Venue: Room F4/F5
  4. Bank of Ghana Panel Session on Sustainable Microfinance – 30 July. Time: 8.30 -12.30pm. Venue: Auditorium
  5. Panel Session on Spirituality and Business Sustainability – 31 July. Time: 12.00 – 13.00pm. Venue: Auditorium
  6. Closing Ceremony – 31 July. Time: 13.00 – 13.30pm. Venue: Auditorium

 

Thanks for submission of papers. Out of the 75 papers that were received and reviewed, there are 42 accepted conference papers and 20 doctoral submissions. 19 of the 42 accepted conference papers were accepted only for oral presentations in 7 tracks, based on the above themes. The remaining 23, were however accepted for oral presentation, as well as inclusion in the conference proceedings.

 

The conference also showcases exhibitors including Japan Motors, Mechanical Lloyd, Silver Star Autos, GHS housing, Stanbic Bank, Millward Brown, UG Bookshop, First Capital Plus, and CIMA.
