The Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies is organizing a workshop on “Problem Areas and Solutions for Sustainable and Income-Generating Waste management in Ghana” to be held on 14th December 2022 at the International House from 9:30 am to 3:45 pm.
The workshop which forms part of the BWS Plus Collaborative Project (a student-led initiative) will bring together artisans, local authority representatives, Non-Governmental Organisations, as well as Managers from Hotels, Beaches and Restaurants to discuss research findings where practical works will also be exhibited. The practical works include preparing activated carbon using coconut shells and the making of chairs from waste tyres.
