Members of the University community are hereby invited to the 2023 Green Ghana Day.
A public ceremony will be held in commemoration of the event at the University of Ghana. It will be climaxed with His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, leading the entire nation to plant at least ten million (10,000,000) tree seedlings across the country. The exercise is part of an aggressive afforestation and reforestation agenda to restore degraded forest landscapes and to contribute to global efforts to fight climate change.
