Dr. Justice Eddie Quainoo is a Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Ghana whose research focuses on discourse studies, corpus linguistics, systemic functional linguistics, and political communication. His scholarship examines how language functions within public, and political contexts, with particular attention to the ways discourse constructs identity, ideology, power, and national belonging.
A language scholar with a strong interest in contemporary discourse analysis, Dr. Quainoo's work investigates the relationship between linguistic choices and social meaning. His research combines corpus-based methodologies with critical discourse analysis and systemic functional linguistic approaches to explore how language shapes public understanding of political, social, and cultural realities.
