The "Chinese+" series of training courses are continuing in Ghana

In recent years, local Chinese teachers are playing an increasingly important role in overseas Chinese teaching. To further enhance the knowledge of the local Chinese teachers reserve, teaching ability and professional quality, the Confucius institute at the university of Ghana in constructing "Chinese+" vocational education training mode, summarizing the training experience, make full use of existing resources, optimizing the curriculum, carried out for three weeks in September a total of 36 hours of native Chinese teacher training courses.

The Chinese director Prof. ChuBeiJuan lead teachers to training courses, lectures, teaching objects and so on has carried on the preliminary discussion and planning, with reference to the international Chinese teacher certificate requirements, combined with the concrete conditions of local Chinese education established a systematic and targeted, fundamental, and take into account practical and interesting customized course. 

Promote literacy curriculum in native Chinese teachers ability as the core, take the form of combining theory and practice from the elements in Chinese teaching, Chinese teaching skills, cross-cultural communication, modern education technology, and through the demonstration course, offline simulation rehearsal in field practice, interactive discussion, step-by-step training student's teaching skill.

The course received a warm response. Students generally believe that they have not only learned a lot of professional knowledge and skills through the training, but also broadened their horizons. I hope that Confucius Institute will offer such courses from time to time to cultivate more "Chinese +" compound talents.

Since the epidemic, the shortage of overseas Chinese language teachers has become a common phenomenon, and the localization training of Chinese teachers is imminent. We hope to establish a professional and localized teaching staff as soon as possible through standardized and systematic course training and exercises, and promote the diversified development of "Chinese +" vocational education.
