Dr. Abraham Okrah
About
Dr. Abraham Okrah is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Teacher Education, University of Ghana, Prior to his appointment at the University of Ghana, he lectured at the Valley View University, worked as Director of Quality Assurance, Head of the Department of Education and Coordinator of the Sandwich programme in the same university respectively. He also worked as a Part-time lecturer at the Language Centre of the University of Ghana.
Education
Dr. Okrah holds a PhD (Curriculum and Teaching) from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, MPhil (Curriculum Studies) from the University of Cape Coast, Master of Arts (M.A.) in English from the University of Education, Winneba, Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Cape Coast and Bachelor of Arts (French and Linguistics – focusing on Linguistics of English) from the University of Ghana.
Research Interest
curriculum design, implementation and evaluation, curriculum and teaching, curriculum in-context and out-of-context analysis, curricular material analysis in relation to relevance, literary criticism, British literature from Anglo-Saxon through Renaissance, Romanticism to the 20th Century literature particularly the themes underpinning poetry.
