Mr. Ernest Amartey-Vondee
About
Ernest Amartey-Vondee is a retired Affiliate Member of the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries (UK), a former Chartered Statistician and a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society (UK), and a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of Ghana.
In his career, he held senior management roles in prominent social and commercial insurance organizations in Ghana, including the Social Security & National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and various private insurance firms. Additionally, he has served as a part-time Lecturer in the Business School, at the University of Ghana. He has been a part-time lecturer in the department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, University of Ghana, for several years.
He is a past President of the Actuarial Society of Ghana and has also served as Director of Regulations, as well as Director of Research & Planning, at the National Pensions Regulatory Authority.
An active participant in the global actuarial community, he has presented papers at numerous international conferences and has published extensively on topics such as Life Insurance, Pensions, and Social Security.
