About
Dr. Ocran is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Ghana. He earned his PhD in Statistics from the same university. As an educator, Dr. Ocran enjoys engaging students in lively and interactive discussions, which fosters a deeper understanding of statistical concepts. His research interests focus on estimation techniques in the Statistics of Extremes and Statistical Learning. As a highly motivated young statistician, he is dedicated to advancing knowledge in these fields and exploring innovative applications to address real-world problems.
