Dr. Anani Lotsi
About
Dr. Anani Lotsi is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Ghana, Legon. He holds a PhD degree in Statistics from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, and an MSc degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. In addition, he holds a BA degree in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Ghana, Legon. He has over ten (10) years experience in teaching and research. Courses taught include Probability Theory, Sample Survey, Data Analysis, Research Methodology, Actuarial Mathematics, Non-Life Insurance Mathematics, and Risk Mathematics among others. Dr. Lotsi has a wide interest in the field and applications of Statistics, ranging from network inference, high-dimensional inference, design and model choice, Mixture model and Graphical modeling, and Big data analysis.
