About

Prof. Richard Minkah is associate professor of Computational Statistics with a special interest in Statistics of Extremes at the Department of Statistics, University of Ghana. He holds a PhD in statistics from the University of Ghana (partner Stellenbosch University) and an MSc in Financial Mathematics from Uppsala University. His research interest is in Statistics of Extremes and its applications. He is a professional model risk validator in banking for Asset Liability Management, Liquidity Stress Tests, Mortgage Pipeline Risk, etc. Also, he has served as an uncertainty risk analyst for the Ghana Greenhouse Gas Inventory submitted to the UNFCCC. Furthermore, he has served as the statistician on phase I &II clinical trials and other projects. He has published his works in many journals and presented at  international conferences.
