
Lawrence Boakye
About
Dr Lawrence Boakye is a Philosopher with research interests and specialization in philosophy of religions, metaphysics, philosophical issues in African Indigenous Religion, peace building and conflict resolution strategies. He obtained his PhD in Ethics and Human Science at the University of the Holy Cross (Rome) in 2007.

Research Interest
My general areas of interest focus on Philosophy, Religion, and Culture relating to contemporary issues of human sciences and human development. Other areas of interest include specifically using interdisciplinary approach to research into African Epistemology and its impact on change and development. I analyze popular African world views and indigenous cultures and knowledge systems as leading factors toward a new comprehensive understanding of development and innovation and its contribution to sustainability and development.
