About
Dr. Emmanuel Y Assasie is a Sport and Exercise Scientist/Behavioural Medicine specialist with vast interest in Cardiometabolic Disease management through lifestyle modification. Emmanuel gained an undergraduate degree from the International School for Physical Education and Sport (Cuba) in 2006. He proceeded to Cardiff Metropolitan University (Wales, UK) for an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science in 2012. Emmanuel did his PhD in Behavioural Medicine at Loughborough University looking at "The association of sex with cardiometabolic disease risk in Ghana" Before assuming the role of Lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sport Studies, he was a Teaching Assistant at the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences, Loughborough University.
