Dr. Samuel Kofi Donkor holds Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in physical education (curriculum and pedagogy - PE); Master of Philosophy in Health, Physical Education Recreation and Sports (M.Phil HPERS); Master of Education in Health, Physical Education Recreation and Sports (M.Ed HPERS); Bachelor of Education In Health, Physical Education Recreation and Sports (B.Ed HPERS); and 3-Years Post-Secondary Teachers’ Certificate A (Literature in English). He has obtained Certificate in Exercise Medicine, Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) & First Aid, Certificate in HIV/AIDS Alert School Model for Tutors of Colleges of Education, Certificate in Handball Coaching, Certificate in Junior Secondary School Mathematics (Canadian Teachers Federation (CTF) / Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) etc.
Professionally, Dr. Samuel Kofi Donkor has over 21 years teaching experience having completed Teacher Training College in 2000. He has taught at various levels of education in Ghana. He was a full time Tutor at E.P. College of Education, Amedzofe (AMECO) in the Volta Region of Ghana for ten years before taking up lectureship appointment at the University of Ghana (Legon) in 2018. He was a part time Senior Tutor at the College of Distance Education (CoDE) of the University of Cape Coast- Ho campus and an assistant examiner in Physical Education for Colleges of Education. Dr. Kofi Donkor also worked with Ghana Education Service (GES) for several years as a teacher and went through the ranks to become Assistant Director I.
