About

Michael Okyere Asante is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy and Classics at the University of Ghana. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Classics at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Dr. Frisbee Sheffield. His research explores ancient philosophy and its engagement with non-Western philosophical traditions, with a particular focus on Global South perspectives on classical texts. He is also deeply interested in the decolonization of Classics and the discipline's role and relevance within African educational and cultural contexts.
