DR. DEBORAH ARMAH

RESEARCH PROFILE OF DR. DEBORAH ARMAH

Deborah is an innovative, competent, committed, active and easily adaptable young woman who is also hard working. She had a PhD degree in Nursing from University of Pretoria, South Africa, and an MPhil degree in Nursing from University of Ghana, Legon. She lectures both masters and degree nursing students. Aside her lecturing she undertakes supervision of both masters and degree nursing students, directing students with their patient care studies, mentors and coaches’ students.

During her nursing career, she rendered individualistic nursing care to patients and patients’ relatives, mentored both diploma and degree nursing students, supervised nursing staff, engaged in administrative duties, and played an advocacy role for her patients. Deborah attended and participated in number of conferences, training programmes, and workshops.

She is a researcher and an expert in psychosocial health problems associated with infertility among women as well as a holistic management of women with infertility.
