My linguistic interests lie in syntax, morphology, and the interface between language and society, with a broader focus on language as a structured system for encoding meaning. I am particularly interested in how sentence structure and word formation interact with grammatical features such as tense, agreement, and plurality, as well as how meaning is shaped through semantic roles and pragmatic context. More broadly, I explore how linguistic systems work together to organize thought, convey meaning, and reflect social identity and communicative intent.
