About

Professor De-Graft Johnson Dei is an Associate Professor of Information Science in the Department of Information Studies at the University of Ghana, Legon. He holds a PhD in Information Science from the University of South Africa, a Master’s degree in Library Studies, a Bachelor’s degree in Information Studies and Political Science from the University of Ghana, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Information Systems. His research interests include Knowledge Management, Indigenous Knowledge Systems, Information Science, Digital Innovation, Academic Librarianship, and Sustainable Development.

Prof. Dei previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the American University in Cairo, Egypt. He has published extensively in reputable international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. He serves as an editor, reviewer, examiner, and research supervisor for several international journals and universities. He has also undertaken consultancy and capacity-building engagements for institutions including the Bank of Ghana, GIMPA, Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, and the Rural Enterprises Programme.
