About

Dr. Danquah is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Information Studies, University of Ghana. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Ghana Library Journal and the Chair of the ICT and E-resources working Group for the Consortium of Academic and research libraries in Ghana (CARLIGH). She served as the national treasurer for the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) from 2016-2018. She also served two terms as national treasurer for the Ghana Library Association (GLA) from 2014-2018. 

Dr. Danquah is currently the Vice Chair of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions Regional Division standing Committee for Sub-Saharan Africa (IFLA-RDS SSA), and the Lead for the Team working on the Global Advocacy Priority around the SDGs for the IFLA-RDS SSA.  She is the Public Relations Officer and a member of the Newsletter management team for the African Library Association and Institutions (AFLIA), Library and Education Training Session (LETIS).  

Dr. Danquah is a facilitator and training consultant. She offers training consultancies on scholarly writing, scholarly publications and modern trends in Library and Information Science. Prior to her appointment at the Department of Information Studies, University of Ghana, Dr. Danquah was a practising librarian at the Balme library, University of Ghana where she worked eight years and served as Head of Department for the Cataloguing Department and the Electronic Resources Department.
