On 26 August 2026, the Department of French received a team from RWS (owners of Trados translation software). 
The Team was made up of Mr. Joaquín Soler (Vice-President in charge of Supply Chain, RWS Global) and Ms. Jennileigh Jooste (Talent Manager, RWS Africa). The Dean of the School of Languages (Prof. Gladys Nyarko Ansah) and the Head of Department (Dr. Elias K. Kaiza) represnted Management of the Shool of Languages. Faculty members and students of the MA Translation programme as well as representatives of the Bachelor of Arts programme (French Option) were present. The conversation featured internship opportunities, scholarship prospects and employment opportunities.
