About

Dr. Owusu-Bempah is a Senior Lecturer and the Head of the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. He has several publications in the Authentic Leadership area; he has also focused on communication and special needs education in Ghana. In addition to his academic career, Justice has consulted for two private universities and has helped pioneer three others that are all doing well in Ghana. He has played several roles in course evaluation and validation, as an external examiner and has contributed to various academic boards of some private universities in Ghana. He has supervised several undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral research theses and his research is currently focusing on financial inclusion and issues relating to cyberbullying.

Research Interest

Family and Consumer Sciences and general community education on management and other socio-economic related issues. I am also interested in entrepreneurship and income-generating activities as well as applied research on management, waste, food security, and knowledge acquisition and transfer issues.
