INVITATION: INTERNATIONAL DAY OF OLDER PERSONS 2023
The Centre for Ageing Studies, University of Ghana, Legon, is organising its annual event to celebrate the International Day for Older Persons. The day is celebrated for older persons around the world to create awareness on the needs and challenges faced by the elderly. The theme for this year’s event is “Fulfilling the promises of the universal Declaration of Human Rights for Older Persons: Across Generations”.
The event will comprise a health screening; counselling; dance and fitness; talk on wellness and other aging-related issues; as well as stakeholder engagements.
The Planning Committee of the International Day for Older Persons wishes to respectfully invite you to join us celebrate and empower the elderly.
