Vacancy for Graduate Research Assistants (Nestle Ghana Limited)

Starting June 19, 2019 - Ending June 19, 2020

The University of Ghana and Nestlé Ghana Ltd have available funding for a 12 months’ Graduate Research Assistant position starting in August, 2019 on the following topics:

1.       Pod characterisation based on the level of maturity for non-acidic fermented cocoa beans

o        Preferred student background – Food Science, Crop Science, Food Process Engineering, Plant Biology or Chemistry

2.       Using sustainable processing to deliver affordable nutritious beverages combining cocoa pulp and African nuts

o        Preferred student background – Food Science,  Food Process Engineering or Family and Consumer Sciences

3.       A deep dive into what Sub-Saharan Africans are eating, what nutrient gaps exists and opportunities to help reduce the gap

o        Preferred student background – Nutrition, Family and Consumer Sciences or Dietetics 



University of Ghana MPhil 2nd Year students in good standing.
