Associate Professor

Augustine Naazie is an Associate Professor of animal breeding and quantitative genetics. He holds a BSc Animal Science degree (First Class Honours) from the University of Ghana, and MSc (University of Edinburgh) and PhD (University of Alberta) degrees in animal breeding and genetics. His works mainly in the conservation of domestic animal, especially local poultry, genetic resources (characterization, improvement and use). He is interested production systems, their analyses, modeling and evaluation in terms of sustainability.
