The newly constituted Management Committee of Accra City Campus held its inaugural session, marking a pivotal transition in the campus’s administrative leadership. The meeting served as a platform for both a comprehensive situational analysis of the campus and the introduction of a roadmap for future development.

Presiding over the meeting, the Principal, Prof. Clement Appah, delivered a detailed presentation on the "State of the Campus." His address provided a transparent look at current institutional strengths and the challenges that lie ahead.
Following the assessment, Prof. Appah outlined his strategic goals for his tenure. His vision focuses on enhancing the academic environment, fostering innovation, and strengthening the campus's position as a premier hub for learning within the university structure. He emphasized a commitment to inclusive governance and excellence in service delivery.
Fiscal Transparency and Planning

A critical component of the meeting was a briefing by the Campus Accountant, who presented a comprehensive report on the financial standing of Accra City Campus. The presentation covered budgetary allocations, revenue streams, and the fiscal strategies required to support the Principal’s proposed initiatives.
By prioritising financial transparency at the first meeting, the Committee signalled its intent to ensure that all development projects are underpinned by sustainable, accountable management practices.

The constitution of this new Committee and the clarity provided by both the Principal and the Accountant set a proactive tone for the academic year. Members of the Committee expressed their readiness to collaborate on the shared mission of elevating Accra City Campus's profile and improving the student and faculty experience.
As the new administration takes its first steps, the campus community can look forward to a period of structured growth and renewed institutional focus.
