Brief History

The Population, Family and Reproductive Health (PFRH) department was established as a derivative of the University of Ghana Johns Hopkins Bill and Melinda Gates Institute collaboration initiative in 2002. It is by far the largest in the School of Public Health recording a yearly intake of at least 12 students for the public health programme. The current population of our student is 18: 15 MPH students, 1 MPhil student, and 2 PhD students.
