CHIN 412 Further Readings in Modern Chinese Literature

This course will focus primarily on Chinese drama and poetry written in Chinese and published since the beginning of the 20^th century. Some famous songs and quyi works will also be studied to help students appreciate and acquire the modern spirit of Chinese literature. At least three works by prominent and world acclaimed writers will be studied.
