CHIN 411 Readings in Modern Chinese Literature

This course will focus primarily on Chinese fiction written in Chinese and published since the beginning of the 20^th century. At least three works by prominent and world acclaimed writers will be studied. Famous writers such as Luxan, Guomoruo, Maodun, Bajin, Lao she, Caogu will be studied. Students will be introduced to their masterpieces.
