Research Interest

My research area focuses on exploring the reasons and beliefs contributing to domestic violence, and the barriers that perpetrators encounter when receiving reformative support, and draws attention to the negative impact of patriarchy, cultural norms, religion and childhood exposure to violence.  Current research focus is on reformation of traditional cultural norms that promote violence against women.
