DANC 619 (ELECTIVE COURSES) : Dance and the Related Arts

This course focuses on the discussion of dance and its relation with music, dramatic
enactment, costume, props, visual arts, language and symbolism. It examines dance as a
holistic art form whose scope extends beyond the borders of movement and space extending
to other artistic forms. Key concepts to be explored include holism, artistic collaboration,
performance, coexistence and artistry.
