DANC 604 (Core) : Performing Arts Administration

 This programme focuses on in-depth study of the principles of Performing Arts Management/ Administration with emphasis on dance management in academic institutions, professional dance companies and international festivals and related issues. The programme takes a critical look at human resource management, budgeting, branding, packaging, fund raising, planning and general organisation of the Performing Arts. The class will interrogate among other issues of contractual obligations of performing artists and managers, as well as touring and management of artistic products.
