It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Adult Education and Human Resource Studies at the University of Ghana. As a Department, we are proud of our longstanding tradition of excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement, which continues to shape the field of adult education and human resource development both locally and globally.

Our programmes are designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to address the complex challenges of lifelong learning, workforce development, organisational leadership, and social transformation. We place a strong emphasis on 
innovative teaching, interdisciplinary research, and partnerships with industry and communities to ensure that our graduates are not only academically grounded but also professionally relevant.
