About

Isaac Kofi Biney is a Professor of Adult Education and Community Development and the head of UG Learning Centres. Isaac is an adult education and community development researcher. He writes in the areas of adult education, community development, entrepreneurship and lifelong learning. Isaac has over 70 articles and book chapters published nationally and internationally. He has also published three books and two more (in press) to his credit. He lectures at graduate and undergraduate levels at the Department of Adult Education and Human Resource Studies, University of Ghana. Isaac is a member of twelve professional bodies, including Adult Higher Education Alliance (AHEA). He is also an editorial board member of Community Development– Journal of the Community Development Society, in the United States of America. Isaac is an assessor and examiner to ten universities globally. He engages in capacity building of employees of statutory/private organisations in alternative livelihood programmes (ALP). He writes on how young adults foster growth and enterprising mindsets and create enterprises and make local communities more thriving, vibrant, and sustainable.
