The University of Ghana will be marking its 75th anniversary from September 1, 2022 through 2023 on the theme, “Nurturing Resilience: Adopting Technology, Embracing Humanism”. This year-long celebration seeks to catalogue the University’s successes and challenges, and to strategize for our future.
It is with great pleasure that, under the auspices of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, the Anniversary Planning Committee invites members of the University community and the public to the launch of the 75th anniversary as follows:

Venue: Great Hall
Special Guest: Mrs. Elsie Addo Awadzi, Second Deputy Governor, Bank of Ghana
The Chairperson for this official launch is the Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Mrs. Mary Chinery-Hesse.
Justice Sophia A.B. Akuffo (Rtd.), Chairperson of the University Council, will be performing the official launch.
The 75th anniversary logo will be unveiled during the launch. Additionally, the Anniversary Planning Committee will announce some of the major activities for the year-long celebrations.
