Methods of data transformation: Graphical display of data, numerical characterization of data. Univariate and bivariate exploratory data analysis. Introduction to basic concepts of Probability. Random events, and Random Variables. The Probability Calculus and some univariate probability distributions. Some applications to Actuarial Science.
