Sports Equipment Project
The research was a collaboration involving Central St. Martins (CSM) College of Art and Design (London), the University for Development Studies (UDS) and the University of Ghana (UG), under the auspices of UK Sports. The Research aim is to design innovative frameworks for the development of sports equipment in Ghana that can be sourced, created and made in-country in a sustainable way, to enable the Beckwith International Leadership Development (BILD), Ghana, to deliver its programmes effectively. To this end, Ghanaian students worked closely with UK Students to identify needs at the local level. A wing to this research is an evaluation component that examined the effectiveness of the collaboration between CSM College of Art and Design (London), UDS and UG.
Findings of the Sports Equipment project were compiled and published by Edge Hill University, Ormskirk, United Kingdom.
