About

Dr Jones ADU-GYAMFI is an international social worker and development practitioner. As a social worker he specialises in working with children and youth, and has worked with many social service organisations in England including The London Borough of Croydon; London Borough of Bromley; Bradford Metropolitan District Council; Wakefield District Council; Calderdale Metropolitan District Council; and Leeds City Council. He rose through the ranks working as a social worker, senior social worker, advanced social work practitioner and Project Manager. He has held other managerial roles including Practice Education Supervisor; Practice Learning Coordinator; School Governor; Programme Director; Head of Department; and Board Chair. As an academic he has worked with universities in Ghana, England, Sweden and Canada. He has lectured at University of Bradford, UK; Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge UK; and University of Ghana. He has also been a Visiting Scholar at the Faculty of Social Work, University of Calgary in Canada; Visiting Professor at Department of Social Work, Jönköping University and Södertörn University in Sweden.
